Dallas Wayne Watlington of Colt, Arkansas, died on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.
Dallas was born on November 5, 1943, in Cross County, Arkansas, to the late Robert Watlington and Ethel Luker Watlington. He worked for Airtherm for 32 years and for Farmers Supply. In 1964 he married Birtie Mae Keysacker and they made their home in Colt, Arkansas. He loved his family, and his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren. His grandkids loved spending time with their grandfather and will truly miss him. He enjoyed yard work, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Birtie Mae Watlington of the home, daughters, Teresa Watlington Moser of Judsonia, Shelby Watlington of Wynne, Melissa Watlington Taylor and husband Sam of Cherry Valley, Tifany Watlington Dillard of Colt, sons, Marty Watlington and wife Jessica of Colt, Tracey Watlington of Colt, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Watlington and his daughter, Juanita Watlington.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10 am at Smith Chapel Cemetery.
