Dan was a member of the American Slovenian Club, and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Cricket.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle DiMichele; sister, Poppy Modic; a niece, and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; son, Dan Matthew; and his brother, Phillip.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 8, from 5-6PM with a service to follow at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, with the final resting place being at Riverside Cemetery.
