Danny and Tambra divorced later in life.
On June 16, 2001, Danny entered into marriage to Stacy (Buel) Combs. Danny and Stacy shared 23 years of marriage as "soul mates and best friends". Danny and Stacy resided in Neodesha, KS, until 2005 when they moved to Independence, KS, where they resided at the time of Danny's passing.

Danny had many passions in life. His work in the Autoparts as a salesman, music being a professional drummer for almost all of his life, a music promoter, and event planner. His most recent idea to promote until he was stricken down by his health, was to try to start up a team, called Team Ritz made up of musicians and spokespersons to rally up against bullying, mass shootings, and abuse. These happening in our world these days tore at his heart strings, and he was bound and determined to get awareness into the communities, the schools, the churches, the homes of families, the parents, in hopes of making a possible change in someone's life.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish you could make a donation in Danny's name to: Stomp Out Bullying, Cyberbullying and Bullying Prevention.
