Daniel L. Collins, 41, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3rd at Daniel's Sports Lounge in Kieler, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Dan was born on April 11, 1982 to John Moyer & Teri Collins-Niemeyer in Dubuque, IA. He was a graduate from Southwestern High School in 2000. He worked for many years on the Kennicker Family farm and later for the Grant County Highway Department. He married Brittany A. Kaiser on July 22, 2006 in East Dubuque, IL. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, farming, spending time with his kids, nieces & nephews, picking on people, snowplowing, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family & friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dan is survived by his wife, Brittany; 3 children: Kaylyn MacInerney of Athens, TN, Abbey & Wyatt Collins of Hazel Green, WI; his mother, Teri (Mike) Collins-Niemeyer of West Branch, IA; his father John Moyer; 4 siblings: twin sister, Josie (Adam Drumm) Clark of Durant, IA, Faith (Josh) Thyen of Richmond, MN, Steve (Chrissy Slack) Collins of Dubuque, IA and Judith Babineau of Elma, WA; his extended family, Donovan Family; in-laws: James Kaiser of Hazel Green, WI and Brenda Kaiser of East Dubuque, IL; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Daniel L. Collins Memorial Fund has been established.
