To the Demers Family:

We are truly sorry for the loss of Daniel. While we only spoke to him a few times through the fence, he always spoke lovingly about his family and the dogs. We knew right away that he was truly a special person. Please let us know if there is anything at all we can do for you.

Love, your back yard neighbors on Paulette Lane.

Kathy and Dan on their way to her senior prom

Cherie Klein

July 16, 2008

It has been my privilege and honor to be Dan's sister-in-law. I have many fond memories of times spent with him when I was a teenager and He and Kathy were dating. One of my favorite memories from that time was when he took Kathy to her senior prom. He asked me if I thought it would be corny if he gave her his class ring. Of course I thought it was very sweet. I've spent my adult life across the country, but made it back for 3 visits. Each time I stayed with Dan and Kathy. The last time was October 2007, when I got to hug him and look him in the eye one more time and say "I Love You Dan". He was a special person who always took the time to let me know I was special to him too. I know he is in God's hands now shining down on all of us, and that makes me smile. I will see him again some day. God bless you Dan!
