Daniel Allan Freeman, age 39 of Northport, passed away recently at home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the chapel.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Gladys B. Freeman, Frank Freeman, Thomas Allan and June Allan.
Survivors include his mother; Rebecca Allan Freeman and step-father; Rex Needham and father; Faron Layn Freeman, grandfather; Jimmy Freeman, aunt; Sherre Walker (Stephen), cousins; Casey Dunlap (Will), Daisy Dunlap, uncles; John Allan,Gary Allan (Debbie), Randy Allan (Lori), great aunt; Dot Dockery and a host of other cousins and relatives.
Daniel graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2003 and got his B.S. Degree in Industrial Design in 2008 from SCAD. He served as Vice President of Freeman Sheetmetal from 2011-2023. He was a talented metal artist and custom fabrication artist. His photo in his obituary is metal art he created of himself. Daniel was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He will be missed by all his friends and family.
Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan LeMaster and close friends, and employees of Freeman Sheet Metal.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to a charity of your choice.
