Daniel David Ghesquiere, age 74, a resident of Shelby Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024. Daniel was born March 19, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Emiel and Maria (Segaert) Ghesquiere. He graduated from Roseville High School, Class of 1967. On June 28, 1974, he married the love of his life, his Hon, Leslie Quinlan of Roseville. After high school, Daniel obtained a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Technology. Daniel was a Biomedical Technician, ending his career as a National Technical Director of Biomedical Technology. Daniel was a lover of music, attending many concerts in his time. Daniel enjoyed anything outdoors, boasting the greenest lawn and landscaping on the block. He enjoyed being in the sun while working on his tan and in his garden. Daniel's world was his family, from being Leslie's chauffeur, to constant calls with his children, to spending time with his two grandsons. Daniel was loved by anyone and everyone who met him. From neighbors who all knew him, to the clerk at the store, to friends of friends, Daniel was always the life of the party.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Leslie Ghesquiere, children David Ghesquiere (Erica Mitchell), Tracy Ghesquiere (Steve Bussard), sister Diana Huber, and grandchildren William Dodd V and Corbin Dodd.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, and the service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00PM, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
