Daniel P. McClelland, age 64, of North East, passed away on Monday July 8, 2024 at Corry Manor.
He was born on May 23, 1960 in Erie, PA to the Rochelle (Northrop) Lutz and the late Lester McClelland.
Daniel was formerly employed by Independent Mufflers and worked in construction, most of his life.
He was a member of the Wesleyville American Legion Post 571, Star Athletic Club, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Palmer Northrop, and grandmother, Iva Drury Stadler, and Glenn & Hazel McClelland
He is survived by his mother, Rochelle Lutz (Terry) of North East; daughter, Briana Hullinger (James) of FL; sons, Joseph McClelland of Norfolk, VA and Jason McClelland of Springboro, PA; mother of his children, Shelly Hopwood McClelland; brothers, Terrance McClelland (Pat) of FL, Kenneth McClelland (Alisa) of GA, and Rick McClelland (Pattie) of Harborcreek; step-brother, John Lutz of North East; step-sister, Theresa Lutz of Jacksonville, FL; step-mother, Marsha McClelland of Union City; and 6 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday July 12th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Drury Cemetery in Girard, PA. at a later date. Memorials may be made to UPMC Home Health Care and Hospice, 1700 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501 or the American Cancer Society, 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508. Well Son, I still think of you every day, and still like always love you so much.. I will forever miss You, miss your Sweet Smile, and your sense of Humor.. I am getting by each day, and Praying you are in Gods Hands, and you enjoy seeing your Dad if he is there, Your Grandmothers, I have no doubt they are there. I pray you are Resting In Peace, In the near future I am sure I, God willing, will join you and Terry too.. Be Patient. I am surprised more friends or family has not posted here in your Memory, There were so many family & friends that came to pay there respects and send you off with a prayer or two.. Mom
