Daniel Ray Patrick, age 75, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born July 17, 1949, in Springfield, Ohio the son of the late Joe H. and Opal (Cassel) Patrick. Daniel was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Daniel was Native American and along with his wife, followed Pow-Wows all across the Eastern United States. In following his Native American roots, he enjoyed arrowhead and rock hunting. Daniel is survived by his wife Rebecca (Roush) Patrick; son Shane Leslie Patrick; grandchildren, Kimmie (Aaron) Wiebe, Kalobe Patrick, Elijah (Hailey) Rueppel, Dominik (Kiana) Patrick, and Sabin Patrick; great grandchildren, Miya, Hazel, and Elias; and aunts and uncles, Florence Williams, Connie Ketty, Lana Kay Blair, Bert Cassel, Mary Riggsby, Hetty Daugherty, and Theda Mooreman. In addition to his parents, Daniel Is preceded in death by his brother Randell Joe Patrick; and aunts and uncles, Fanny Hatten, Barbara Hackley, Shirley Cooper, William Cassel, David Cassel, and Caz Jr. Patrick. A Celebration of Daniel's Life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jamestown United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the V.A. Hospital in Dayton for the wonderful loving care given to Daniel. Powers-Kell Funeral Home is assisting the family.
