Dan was the first son born on May 18th, 1954 to Dan and Dorothy Powers at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Daniel J. Powers Sr. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Powers; daughter; Danielle Johnson (Matt); his grandchildren, Makayla Peterson, Bryce Johnson and Brenna Johnson; his three brothers, Dave Powers (Jody), Doug Powers (Linda) and Don Powers (Karen).
Dan always enjoyed watching football, cooking and joking with his family. Throughout his life Dan had varied interests which included playing soccer, softball, the guitar and traveling.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 4 pm- 6 pm at Grace Church of the Nazarene located at 7950 Blaine Ave E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076.

I knew Dan from White Pine while visiting my Dad. He was my favorite. It was sad to watch him decline and I am sure my dad will also do. One of the last times I talked to him I said, Hi Dan, how are you doing, and he gave me the sweetest smile. That's how I remember him.
