Daniel E. Rudolph, of Atco, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Born on May 30, 1943, Daniel lived a life defined by love, resilience, and deep devotion to family, friends and country.

From a young age, Daniel discovered a passion for baseball, a sport that would shape many of his formative years. A talented player with a true love for the game, he earned numerous awards, trophies and recognitions on the field before answering the call to serve his country. Those early achievements reflected not only his athletic skill but also the teamwork, discipline, and dedication that would guide him throughout his life.

Daniel honorably served his country in the United States Army, exemplifying the courage, dedication, and quiet strength that would define him throughout his life.

Following his service, Daniel dedicated much of his professional life to transportation, beginning with over 15 years as a bus driver for Greyhound, where he earned numerous safe driving awards for his professionalism and commitment to safety. Following his time at Greyhound, he went on to work for Sen-Han Transportation, a unit of Senior Citizens United Community Services, Inc., where he served for over 30 years as a driver, trainer, and scheduler. In 1995, Daniel was honored as Sen-Han's Driver of the Year and proudly took first place in the agency's annual Paratransit Roadeo. Even after retirement, his dedication to helping others continued as he served as Chairman of the Camden County Transportation Advisory Committee, using his experience and leadership to advocate for community needs.

He was the beloved partner of the late Carol A. Gill, the love of his life, with whom he shared many cherished years filled with unwavering love, laughter, and companionship until her passing in 2011. Their bond was one of profound devotion-a love that remained with him always. Among their many special traditions, Daniel especially loved going to the Golden Nugget with Carol for wings, a simple joy that brought them countless happy memories. In the years that followed, Daniel was blessed to find love once more with his beloved companion, Carmel Crispaldi, whose warmth and affection brought comfort and joy to his later years.

Daniel was the proud stepfather of the late Theodore Gill (Andrea), Robert Gill (Ann Marie), Catherine Tremarki (Kevin) and Jimmy Gill (the late Jennifer). He was also a devoted grandfather to Pamela Tremarki, Louis Tremarki, Michael Pearce (Courtney), Ashley Mayer (Thomas), Robby, and Little Teddy, all of whom will forever carry his love, wisdom, and quiet strength in their hearts.

He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Rudolph, his loving mother, Blanche Pepsoski, and his beloved brothers, Robert and Lawrence Rudolph, who now welcome him into eternal rest.

A man of simple pleasures and vibrant spirit, Daniel found joy in many things-He also cherished peaceful moments spent fishing with Carol and his Granddaughter Pamela, sharing stories, laughter, and a quiet connection by the water these moments were among his most treasured. He also loved dancing with those he held dear, listening to music, and trying his luck at the casinos-often enjoying those with his stepson Jimmy. A lifelong sports fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams-the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Daniel will remember his warmth, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his love left a lasting imprint on every life he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

There will be a visitation from 10 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
