Daniel F. Weeden "Danny" passed away suddenly on March 19, 2025, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1943, in Rochester, NH, to the late Albert and Thelma (Richards) Weeden. A lifelong resident of Barrington, NH, Danny was a proud graduate of Dover High School.
Danny met the love of his life, Sherry (St. Pierre) Weeden, while working at a a local motorcycle shop, and the two were married on May 1, 1972. His passion for motorcycles extended into his career, as he worked for many years as a service manager for that same store. An avid outdoorsman, Danny found joy in snowmobiling and boating, whether out on the ocean or in the Lakes Region.
His heart was truly in Barrington, where he and Sherry owned and operated Barrington Paint and Hardware. Through the store, he became a beloved fixture of the town, always ready to lend a helping hand. Danny knew everyone, and everyone knew him-his kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on the community. He also briefly served as a town selectman, further demonstrating his dedication to the place he called home.
Along with his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother, Albert S. Weeden.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sherry; sisters, Karen Taylor and Pat Weeden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Danny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the countless people whose lives he touched.
