Daniella Ruiz, aged 25, passed away on October 17, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. Born on January 24, 1999, Daniella was known for her amazing, kind-hearted, and gentle personality. She was always eager to help others and was the life of any party.
Daniella attended Eastwood High School and furthered her education at EPCC & NMSU. She was part of many organizations during her high-school years, but her most promising endeavors were in track and field/cross-country. She received a running scholarship to attend EPCC.
Professionally, she thrived as a server at various restaurants, including Village Inn, Olive Garden, and Wicked Pho, where she enjoyed interacting with patrons. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniella also worked at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as an administrative clerk, helping her sister with urgent deadlines and projects.
Her hobbies included listening to music, volunteering, attending concerts, and spending precious time with her family. Daniella's life was a testament to her loving and caring nature.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Fernandez; sister, Alexandra Monty; brothers, Sergio C. Fernandez and Julian F. Ruiz; brother-in-law, Aaron Monty; nephew, Adriano Monty; uncle, Claudio B. Fernandez; and her beloved family pets, Charlie, Oddie, and Ava. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claudio and Maria B. Fernandez.
A Memorial & Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Perches Funeral Home - East, 2280 Joe Battle Blvd., El Paso, TX 79938.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Daniella can be made to Operation H.O.P.E., supporting the causes she was passionate about. Daniella's legacy of kindness and her zest for life will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
