Danny Foltz

Danny K. Foltz, age 66, a resident of Volga, passed from this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his home, following a long illness.
He was born into this life on January 6, 1956, in Broadway, Va., a son to the late Robert Lee Foltz and Betty (Harpine) Custer.
Surviving are his children, Joshua Foltz, and wife Ashley of Volga, Robert "Bobby" Foltz, and wife Stephanie, of Philippi; grandchildren, Haley Riffle, and husband, Brandon, Logan Foltz, Joshua Foltz, Connor Foltz, and Emberlyn Foltz; great- grandchildren, Rip Riffle, and Paxton Foltz; sisters, Dianne Cullers, of Timberville, VA., and Debbie Reed, of Bealeton, VA.
Danny attended the schools of Rockingham County; he graduated from Broadway High School. Mr. Foltz loved the outdoors, hunting, building stuff and he tinkered around in his garage. Danny started his construction career by helping build and maintain the Tastee Freeze Restaurants, which were owned by his father. They also ran a trucking company for many years. He was a former Superintendent for the Alonzo Group and finished his career working alongside his son in a family - owned construction company. Danny was well known to be accompanied by his canine companion. He enjoyed hanging around his family and will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Mr. Foltz wishes for cremation will be honored. There are no services planned. The Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi, is honored to be assisting the Foltz Family with the arrangements.
