Dantrell Marjon Gibbs departed this life on Monday, June 9. 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La. Dantrell was born on October 13, 2004, to the late Charlene Gibbs and Daniglia Sanders. He was 20 years old, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La. Dantrell attended Donaldsonville High School, Class of 2023. He was baptized at the age of seven at the Counsel of God Ministries by the late Pastor Doris Jonson.
Dantrell leaves to cherish his memories his father, Daniglia Sanders; two sisters, Kiante Gibbs and Shalisa Stewart; a brother, Daniglia Gibb; grandmother, Gloria Sanders; aunts Charlotte, Gibbs, Colleen Dickerson, Denise Sanders, Frenchgernitta Sanders; uncles Charles Gibbs(Hannah) of Providence, Rhonde Island; Christoper Gibbs, John Jones, James Jones, Jermial Jones, Jeremy Jones all of Donaldsonville.; Godparents, Javon Joseph and Jordan Bell, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Dantrell was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Gibbs, maternal grandparents, Jacqueline A. Jones and John "Pip" Jones, great-grandmother, Mary Johnson Jones, maternal great-grandparents, Robert L. and Virgie M. Alexander; paternal great-grandmother, Mary L. Gibbs; paternal grandfather, Donald Sanders, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Augustine Gray; aunts, Grace Dorsey, Victoria Landry, Mary Batiste, Maxine Dright, Rose and Barbara Gray, Geraldine Toussiant; uncles, Lionel Jones, James "Crow' Willis, Roger L. Alexander and Herbert Bailey.
