Danuta E. Hasiuk

Danuta Elzbieta Szuba Hasiuk, of Somers, and formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Wed. July 17, 2024.
Born March 18, 1955 in Gorzuww WPO, Poland. At the age of 14 met the love of her life Adam Jozef Hasiuk, who she followed to the United States in 1989. A true love story. Lived in the old Thompsonville section of Enfield, a neighborhood of family ties and strong connections. As the mamma bear, the ultimate provider and caregiver and an excellent cook, she was always taking care of and feeding and at times, clothing all the children in the neighborhood.
A vibrant and caring personality, with a smile that lit up the room. She would have given the shirt off her back as she was a woman who always put others first and took care of everyone around her. A true fashionista almost always with perfectly red painted finger nails, dressed up to the nines and often wearing furs, sparkly jewelry, she adored pretty things! She truly enjoyed going dancing with her husband as well as family picnics, trips to the beach. Her talent interior decorating during the holidays and especially at Christmas, her favorite holiday - as the hostess with the mostest- where she truly made magic come to life.
As the "peace maker", she encapsulated true beauty from the heart, as a welcoming but fierce and tough loving, she has instilled strong values and the mentality of always taking care of each other, strength, and courage to her family and those who were lucky to know her and be loved by her.
She is survived by: her loving family: Darius Roy and his wife Joella Roy and their children Darius Jakob Roy, Joel Roy, Jordan Roy of Enfield.
Adam Hasiuk and significant other Kristen Holubeki; children Alliana Hasiuk, Arriana Hasiuk and a grandson Bryson Gonzalez of Enfield.
Melania Hasiuk and her children Nicole Wojtowicz & Aiden Desroches of Suffield. Peter & Erin Hasiuk and their children Cameron Hasiuk and baby girl due in November of Windsor. Patrick Hasiuk and fiancé Julia Czelazwicz and their children James Hasiuk & Evelyn Hasiuk of North Granby. Barbara & James Stuart and their children Emma Stuart & Ryan Stuart of Somers. Izabela Hasiuk and her significant other Austin Pellitier of Glastonbury. She is also surivived by: her father – Jakub Szuba, 92 of Poland who still rides a motorcycle. A sister: Irena Michalak and her 3 daughters: Agniieszka Zionko, Wiola Michalok and Mariola Michalak. She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Hasiuk in March of 2023, and her mother Leokadia Szuba.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, July 21, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 3:30 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
