Maurice Eddy Chasse, 91, of Enfield, CT, entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2025. Born on September 29, 1933 in Fort Kent Maine, he was a devoted husband to Joan (Lagasse) Chasse and a loving father to his Children. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, a hard-working and dedicated man who spent 35 years working as a machinist for PWA. He was also a faithful and active member of Saint Martha Parish. Though he may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of deep spiritual devotion, integrity, kindness and generosity, and he left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Joan (Lagasse) Chasse, his children Robert Chasse, Stephen Chasse and his wife Terri, Mona (Chasse) Cyr and her husband/his buddy Russell, and Gary Chasse, grandchildren Angela Savage, Melina Denno and her husband Zak, Kaitlyn Williams and her husband Michael, and Elizabeth Chasse, great grandchildren Blaike, Mila and Tessa Denno, and Amelia Williams. He also leaves behind brother Raoul Chasse and sisters Mary Chasse and Barbara Theriault and many other extended family members. He is predeceased by his daughter Beverly who he now holds close in his arms, his parents Henry and Rose Chasse, brothers Harold Chasse, Albert Chasse and sister Cecile St. Peter.
Family and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours from 9 - 11 am Tuesday, January 21st at Browne Memorial Chapel, 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield CT. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St Martha's Parish, 214 Brainard Rd, Enfield CT.
