Darcie Marie Adams

Adams – Darcie Marie Adams, age 15, of Glen St. Mary, Florida went to her Heavenly Home on September 18, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 25, 2008, to her loving parents, John and Stacie Johnson Adams. Darcie was a lifelong resident of Baker County and was currently in the 10th grade at Baker County High School. She was a funny, sassy spit-fire with a personality that could light up any room. Darcie loved animals, especially her dogs, Ann and Buddy. She enjoyed hunting and playing travel volleyball for the Gainesville Junior's Orange 15U team. She had a large stuffed animal collection; all were unique and beautiful. Darcie loved blankets, fuzzy socks, and anything cow-print design. She enjoyed attending St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was a lifetime member, but more than anything, Darcie loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending precious time with them. She especially loved playing with all her nieces and nephews. Darcie's impact was significant, she was so very loved, and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Matthew and Beau Adams; paternal grandparents, Jack Adams and Audrey Adams; and maternal grandfather, Jimmy Johnson.
Darcie is survived by her loving parents, John and Stacie Adams of Glen St. Mary, FL; brothers, John Edward Adams, IV of Sanderson, FL, Corey Logan Adams (Macie Swanhart) of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Dalton James Adams (Hailey Freeman) of Macclenny, FL; sisters, Ashley (Les) Batts of Jacksonville, FL and Lillian "Lili" Anne Adams (Dalton Crawford) of Glen St. Mary, FL; maternal grandmother, Kathy Johnson of Glen St. Mary, FL; nieces and nephews, Les Batts, III, Riley Batts, Jace Jeffers, Chloe Adams, and Hayden Adams; boyfriend, Memphis Walker of Glen St. Mary, FL; along with many close friends and extended family members.
A Celebration of Darcie's Life will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Martin Raj as celebrant. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 5:30 – 8:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 5:00 pm at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel.
