Darin C Kreiner

Darin Christopher Kreiner, age 57, of Fife Lake, MI., passed away at his home on February 5, 2025. Darin was born on February 5, 1968, in Romeo, MI., to Richard and Beverly (McLean) Kreiner. He was one of 6 children and grew up in the Hale area graduating from Hale High School. Darin, along with his siblings, grew up helping their parents operate Rollway Resort, which was owned by their parents.
Darin joined the United States Air Force in 1986 and spent the next four years being trained as an airplane mechanic. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He immediately went to work for United Airlines and had a long-distinguished career there for 35 years.
Working for United allowed him to do one of his favorite things in life, which was traveling with his sons, Jack and Sam, around the world. Darin loved golfing, watching football, especially U of M, playing euchre, watching James Bond movies, and listening to the band Rush. A few years ago he purchased his dream home on Fife Lake where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Darin is survived by his sons, Jack Roberts Kreiner and Samuel Richard Kreiner; his mother, Beverly Kreiner; mother of his children, Susan Roberts; significant other, Marianne Watson; brother, Kevin (Cyndi) Kreiner; sisters, Leslie (Jim) McCadie, Shannon Kreiner, Jennea (Jeff) Thompson; former brother-in-law, Tray Pearsall; nieces and nephews, Travis, Megan, Lindsey, Marissa, Ashley, Brett, Connor, Macy, Maleia, and many other family members and friends.
Darin is preceded in death by his father, Richard, and his brother, Brian.
Family will have a funeral mass for Darin at St. Pius X in Hale, MI, on February 21st at 11:00am. Family will receive visitors between 10:00am and 11:00am. Final interment will take place later in the year at Esmond Evergreen Cemetery in Hale with military honors.
