Darion Donte Booker

Darion Donte Booker, age 24, of Portsmouth, Virginia, entered eternal rest on October 7,2025. He was born on August 9,2001 in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Lucitina Wright and Denell Lamont Booker Sr.
Preceded in death by: his great grandmother, Minnie Booker (paternal), his grandmother Argentina Brown (maternal), grandfather Cephas Wright Jr. (maternal) and his uncles, Omar Booker-Vincent (paternal) and Walter Brown, Jr. (maternal).
Darion Donte Booker as known as Darion Doodle or Dari was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence brought warmth, love, and light to those around him.
He graduated from Churchland High School, where he earned his high school diploma, and later pursued his passion for service and travel by becoming a Merchant Seaman, working in the Supply Department. Prior to that, he honorably served in the United States Navy.
Beyond his career, Darion Donte Booker had a creative and joyful spirit. He enjoyed watching comedy and suspense thrillers, cooking, playing games, drawing, and graphic design. He also loved spending time and sharing laughter with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Lucitina Wright; his father, Denell Lamont Booker Sr.; his beloved son, Dalil Rashad Booker; and his many loving siblings: Monté Fontanilla, Monaezia Wright, Denell Lamont Booker, Jr, Lamarion Elliott, Sha'Nell Nicole Booker, Damarque Bagwell, Davion Bagwell, Che'nell Bagwell, and Kishawn Boone.
He leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including his bonus dad Lance Elliott, grandmother Maxine Vincent, his aunts Emma Booker, Melissa Brown, Walisha Brown, Markeil Reed his uncles, Ronald Wright (September Wright), Keith Brown (Dionne Brown), Marcus Brown (Shayla Brown), Ahmad Vincent and many cherished friends. Darion Donte Booker will be remembered for his love for spending time with others, his unwavering support for those he cared about, his hard work, his creative expression, his loyalty, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
