Mr. Darious Taylor, 80, passed away on Wednesday evening, April 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Taylor was born in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, to the late Daniel and Melva Hanna Taylor. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Cumbie, and a brother, Dan Taylor. He served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne. He worked at ADT Security for over 40 years before retiring.
Surviving is his wife, Pate; sons, Walt and Kevin Taylor; grandson, Dustin Taylor; granddaughter, Elizabeth Taylor; brother, David Taylor, Sr; sisters, Jeanette Mixon, Barbara (Bunny) McKenzie and Dorothy (Tootie) Watford.
No formal services will be held at this time. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
