Darla Coloma Obituary
Darla was a proud graduate of Palo Verde High School and Bellevue University where she earned her bachelor's degree. She was a committed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held a deep faith that guided her throughout her life. Her career in computers allowed her to exercise her sharp mind, and she took pride in her work. Her love for the outdoors was second only to her love for her family. She found joy in experiencing nature's beauty and spending quality time with those she loved most.
Darla is survived by her parents: Del "Rusty" and Shelia Sarrett; sons: Brian (Rachael) Mata and Tanner Del Mata; siblings: Lara (Chad) Schiffman, Daniel (Roxanne) Sarrett, Lisa (Doug) Mahlstede, and Tana (James) Melendez; grandsons: Andrew Mata, Daniel Mata, and Soren Mata. She will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Darla is preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers: Hazel Currington and Marjorie Blythe; and her cousin Chad.
Please join us as we celebrate Darla's life. A Viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from10:30 - 11:30 a.m. with the Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 East 300 South, Brigham City, Utah.
