Darlene N. Domke, age 91, of Wautoma, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 22, 2023 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.
She was born October 26, 1931 in Adams County, the daughter of Reginold and Vala (Walker) Zwetz. She married Arleigh F. Domke on June 11, 1960 at the Hancock United Church of Christ. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2021.
Darlene attended the former Rathermal School and was a 1949 graduate of Tri-County High School in Plainfield. Darlene worked in food service at Riverview School in Wautoma. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling to Germany and throughout the United States. She loved spending time with her two daughters and their families. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Bob) Herr, Palo, Iowa, Kay (Dennis) Evans, Westfield; grandchildren, Brett Herr, Shiloh Herr, Dillon Evans, Dallas (Cassandra) Evans, Denise (Mike) Jones, Shawn Evans; great grandchildren, Brian and Daniel; her sister-in-law, Renona Zwetz, Hancock. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gayle Zwetz and Ardell Zwetz.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Wautoma Union Cemetery with Rev. Stephanie Taylor officiating.
