It was my honor to know and play football for Coach Cavalier at Acadiana High from 1971 to 73, I heard that Coach had passed away and I wanted to send my deepest condolences to all of Coach Cavaliers family and friends, with the life that he led, there is no doubt that he is in his Fathers house with all those who have gone before, I hope to be able to see him again one day.

Coach Cavalier was at Scott High School early in his career, a great leader destined for bigger schools and positions of leadership. Our sympathies to his family and our thanks for sharing Coach with so many people that he influenced. A good man!
