David was born on April 28, 1942, in Lacassine to Levy and Carrie Belair Ardoin. He graduated from high school and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree. Over the years, David owned multiple businesses. In the last few years, David worked for the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Department. He was a family man, a loving husband, father and grandfather. David never met a stranger, and he enjoyed being around people. It was hard not to like David when he always greeted you with an infectious smile and usually a joke that would have everyone around laughing.
Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Wanda Faye Henry Ardoin; daughter, Nicole Ardoin Hulin; sons, David B. Ardoin, Jr. and Kevin Wade Ardoin; sister, Marguerite Swaine; brothers, Michael Ardoin and Ronald Ardoin; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandson, Jerrod Blanchard.
