David Boron

David Edward Boron, of Dewitt, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family May 27, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born at Clinton Memorial in St. Johns Michigan on October 2,1951, Dave was the youngest of two sons born to Gaylord "Louis" and Irene R Boron. A 1969 graduate of Rodney B. Wilson High School, Dave was a talented and artistic carpenter whose creativity and skill could bring any vision to life - often building from just a drawing.
Following high school, Dave began his lifelong career in carpentry, eventually working for many years with Hundt Bros. Builders. His passion for building was evident in every detail of the homes he helped create, particularly in the Okemos area where his finish work left a lasting mark.
On October 24, 1986, Dave married Barbara Gaipa, with whom he shared a long and wonderful life with. Dave deeply loved the family farm in Laingsburg and he cherished time spent at the cottage up north. Most of all, Dave loved spending time with his family.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Barb; his daughter, Kendra (Thomas) Bennett; his son, Bradley (Jeanni) Boron; grandchildren, Hailey (Jay) Kollin, Meghan (Nick) Bennett, Dylan, Devin (Telexia), Addelynn, Aleah, Amelia Boron; two great - grandchildren Haven, and Timberlynn; his brother, Allan (Sally) Boron; and many extended family members.
