David William Bybee, age 67, passed away June 20, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. Born to Don L. Bybee and Barbara Ann Jeffs, was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He studied Aeronautical Engineering at Utah State University after serving an LDS mission in the Philippines, his professional life consisted of designing printed circuit boards for electronics of all types, for entrepreneurs and many companies. He owned his own company and managed engineering departments in many industries. His hobbies included skiing, boating, flying small aircraft, and rebuilding classic Porsches. David and Lisa truly enjoyed spontaneous road trips and most of all he loved spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife Lisa, who cared for him in failing health for several years, his daughters, Grace and Nina, his step-children Jodi (Noel), Mike (Rebecca), Jason (Sarah), and 11 grandchildren, his sister Susan Selim, and her children Matthew, Emily, and Jared and many extended family members. He will be missed by his friends, neighbors, and LDS Ward members, especially his lifelong friends Kyle Hales and Doug Short. Preceding him in death are his parents, Don L. Bybee and Barbara Ann Jeffs, and his two brothers, Thomas and Joseph.
A special thank you to David's Hospice Team, Danita, Chelsea, Bailey, and Dr. Moulton, Lisa's daughter Jodi, her grandchildren Joshua (Alexa) and Jake, and David's sister Susan for their assistance, love, and compassion during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 followed by a luncheon.

David and Thomas spent many summers with us at the ranch in Soda Springs. He has visited us in Malad a few times, but not enough. I'm so sorry that he has passed but glad for him to be out of pain and discomfort. Blessings for you now and the children.
