Allen C Austin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved husband, father and grandfather, Allen C Austin on August 16th 2025 at the age of 83. Allen was born on February 6, 1942 in Salt Lake City Utah to Glen C Austin and May Conder. He graduated from American Fork high school in 1960. Allen joined the U.S. Navy in 1960 on the USS Lyman K. Swenson. He married his High School sweetheart Louise Richins on December 12,1961 and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventures and love . Allen was a proud father to Michelle (Joe) Quiroz and Monica (Ron) Fox, who will forever cherish his wisdom, guidance and unconditional love. He was also a much adored grandfather to Jessica Austin Schanno, Nichole Fox, Alix( Garrett Fuller) Boynton, Tambi (Alan) Leftwich, Tanya (Erik) Huff, and Teirza (Todd) Sperry who will forever miss him. He also had 14 great grandchildren. His family was the center of his world and his greatest joy. He was always known for his generosity, humor, and hard work. He was a master of all trades, he loved fishing, golfing, camping, and working with his hands. He touched the lives of many, whether through his work as welder and millwright, his involvement in the Good Sam's-which he loved dearly-or simply through the everyday moments he shared with those he loved. He left a legacy of compassion and strength. His biggest accomplishment was building a beautiful life with his sweetheart Louise. He is survived by his devoted wife Louise, his two daughters Michelle and Monica and their spouses Joe and Ron plus his 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in deaths by his parents Glen C Austin and May Conder, his sister Glenda Makin and his brother Jon Austin as well as his great granddaughter Kylee Barter. A celebration of life will be held on the 27th of August at 6pm at the LDS stake center outside pavilion (back of church) 275 East 500 South Pleasant Grove,UT 84062. Family and friends are welcome to attend as we honor his memory and the love he shared with us all. Though our hearts are broken we find comfort in knowing his love and legacy will live on in each of us .
