David M. Calzolari

David M. Calzolari, 73, of Worcester, MA, formerly of Vero Beach, FL and Douglas, MA, passed away Sunday February 20, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Helen (Chapman) Calzolari.
Mr. Calzolari was born in Norwood in 1948, the son of the late Mario and Beatrice (Corazzari) Calzolari and was a graduate of Franklin High School. Following his high school graduation, David enlisted into the U.S. Air Force where he honorably served in the Vietnam War.
He had been employed for over 20 years with Avery – Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham, MA. After relocating to Vero Beach, FL, he enjoyed working for Palm Coast Shutter Company for many years.
He was a true handyman who could build or fix just about anything. He also liked golf and in earlier years enjoyed camping. David loved the ocean. As a child he spent summers in Hull, MA and would, in later years, find great peace and enjoyment at the beaches in Florida.
In addition to his wife Helen of nearly 37 years, he is survived by a son Thomas Calzolari of MN; a daughter Christina Morris of MN; 2 step-sons Jason J. McIntyre of Worcester, MA and Brett F. and his wife Heather McIntyre of Sutton, MA; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Walter Calzolari and a step-son Derek R. McIntyre.
A visiting hour will be Friday March 25, 2022, from 5 – 6 PM in the Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church Street, Whitinsville followed by a funeral service at 6 PM in the funeral home.
