Mike was a 1966 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also graduated from Ball State University. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam in 1967-1968 and also served in Desert Storm. Mike was an avid coin collector from a 10 year old boy and was a steady metal detector hunter. He was in several metal detector clubs. This was his love and passion. Mike and his brother Randall owned 2 farms in Indiana and 2 houses in Florida.
Mike was survived by his brother Randall Douglas Campbell.
A service to celebrate Mike's life was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester and was attended by a few close friends and family.
Mike loved his hunt clubs and all of his friends and associates with them known by "I Bid $1.00".
Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerswinchester.com.
