David D. Carr, 72, of Eureka, IL, died on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
David was born in Peoria, IL, a son of Earl and Dolly Carr. He graduated from Eureka High School, where he was active in sports. He was a devoted Hornets fan, as well as a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He lived in Florida for several years but spent most of his life in central Illinois. He was a fun-loving guy who was always smiling and friendly.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Bradway and grandson, Logan Bradway, both of Henderson, NV; nephew, Earl (Gayle) Carr; niece, Rita Clark; and great nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Wayne and Jack Carr.
Per David's request, there will be no visitation or service.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Eureka Methodist Church or Meals on Wheels.
David's family would like to thank the wonderful people at Eureka Methodist Church, Maple Lawn Homes, The Loft and Carle Hospice for their care and support over the last few months.
