David Allen Cotten was born at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix Arizona on October 15 of 1959. He attended Moon Valley High School where he was a wrestler and enjoyed working on motors, driving fast cars and off-roading. He would meet his first wife, Melinda, of 28 years who they share three children, David Paul, Adam, and Joshua. David worked at Karsten manufacturing where he would retire from to become a truck driver where he drove for 30+ years. He spent his time driving tanker trucks, flatbeds, heavy machine towing and getting to see places like Area 51, Corpus Christi, and many states across the country. He had a love for dogs, friends, barbecues, and playing craps. He loved drinking his Pepsi and Sweet Tea and leaving Tootsie Rolls in his pockets. He remarried to Beverly on May 5, 2019, who he leaves lovingly along with his step daughters Rebecca and Cecile. David combined many families together with his barbecues and football Sundays at his house, always showing his love and compassion to all the children and grandchildren. Know he will be missed by all that knew him and had time to spend with him. It's only bye for Now!

Celebration of Life is to be determined at a later date.
