David Glen Cox

David G. Cox, 68, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away at his home on June 22, 2025. Born on June 6, 1957, David lived a life defined by his passions.

From an early age, David discovered a love for working with his hands, a talent that flourished throughout his life. He dedicated many years to repairing cars, honing his craft with skill and precision. His work was not just a job; it was a reflection of his commitment to excellence and a source of pride.

David was also an avid motorcyclist, finding freedom and exhilaration on the open road. Riding alongside friends who became like family, he cherished the camaraderie and adventures they shared, creating memories that would last a lifetime. In quieter moments, he sought solace in fishing, where he found peace and tranquility on the water

David will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and authenticity will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his father Ray Glen Cox and stepfather Forrest West Baker.

David is survived by his mother - Joyce Baker; son - David von Waldner (April); daughter – Caytlin Crawford (Hunter); grandchildren Justin and Jadyn von Waldner; sisters - Susan Perry and Donna Kelly (George); brother - Steven Cox (Melanie); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
