David Everett Davies, 62, of Brown City, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Marlette United Hospice Service.
Dave was born December 21, 1962, to Warren "Everett" and Shirley (Sirdan) Davies.
Dave worked at Miller Dairy Farm during and immediately after High School. He got his CDL and worked for North American Dismantling in Lapeer. Later, Dave then owned his own truck and gravel trains. For the last 15 years, he worked at Marlette Oil & Gas operating the Farm Tire Service truck, just retiring in December 2024. Dave started hobby farming the family farms about 10 years ago and looked forward to many years of farming in his retirement years.
Dave loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He has a large collection of toy tractors and a number of antique FORD farm tractors which he used in his farming. Dave was very proud of his sons and appreciated all of the friends he made through the years. He enjoyed making people laugh and was quite a story teller. Dave will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Dave is survived by his wife, Shellie (Brown) Davies; sons, Michael Davies and Tyler Davies; mother, Shirley Davies; and sister, Linda (Skeeter) Ford.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Everett Davies.
The family will celebrate his life from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.
Memorial donations may be made to United Hospice of Aspire, Marlette.
