David Allen Deweese II, a resident of Rochester Hills, passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 37. A son of David Deweese and Cheryl Deweese-Brown, he was born on April 14, 1984 in Detroit.
David's greatest passion were all things Batman- movies, books, and merchandise. He was a big movie buff and avid Michigan State football fan (Go Green!). Despite a diagnosis of spina bifida, David possessed incredible strength and contentment for life. He never complained, or felt that the world owed him something. David enjoyed the company of his many friends and family. He will be remembered as a good person with an even greater heart.
Loving son of David (Stacey) Deweese and Cheryl (James) Deweese-Brown. Dear brother of Michael Deweese, Sarah (Sam Liveson) Crane, Ilene (Gabe Neistein) Crane, Rick (Kristina) Brown, and Kimberly (Jeff) Hardin.
A visitation for David will be held on Tuesday, January 25, from 11:00 to 3:00 pm with memory sharing at 2:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son, 8459 Hall Rd. (3 blks E. of Van Dyke), Utica 48317.
Donations in David's memory may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Blvd Suite 800 Arlington, VA 22209.

I met him from my friend Doug who introduced us at a Bible Study. We had some nice conversations. Over the years he was a good guy to pray with and play video games with.

Dave was a very good friend of mine for years. He loved people. He loved going clubbing and going to parties. He also loved going to church. He was there for me the most out of everybody when I became schizophrenic. I´ll never forget when I got out of the mental hospital. He was the most distraught out of everybody. I would go over his house all of the time. I would tell him everything, and he never judged me. He really had a great heart. I will miss you, buddy.

Dave, I wish we could have seen each other one more time. I pray that God has you in his care now and have the blessings of no more pain and suffering and the love and encouragement of seeing Him directly is yours to behold.

I remember Dave very well from his days at RHS. His spirit was indeed infectious and buoyant... you never felt down when he was around. He was a wonderful student, and an even better person. Condolences to his family.
