David Lee Dill, 53, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
A lifelong electrician, David was the proud owner of Dill Electric in Greenville. He worked as a project manager for the Converse Center in Atlanta and contributed to several local schools throughout his career. David was instrumental in the P&L Development, showcasing his dedication and skill in his profession.
Outside of work, David had a deep love for nature and family. He was passionate about fishing and had once competed in the BassPro Elite Fishing Tournaments in his younger years. He enjoyed feeding wild birds, taking his daughter tubing, and cherished his time in Pigeon Forge with his family. David also loved the company of his cats, finding joy in the simple moments they brought into his life.
David was an active member of Overcome Church and gave his time and energy to OC Shine, an organization that ministers to high school students and young adults with intellectual disabilities. His faith and commitment to serving others were central to his life.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Tammy Dill; his daughter, Olivia Dill; and two stepsons, Chris and David Rochester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Pauline Tolley Dill, and his brother, Byron Dill.
David's legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, both in his professional endeavors and in his personal relationships. His family, friends, and community will miss him deeply.
A visitation will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel followed by burial in Mountain View Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to OC Shine Ministry, 6914 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 2961, https://overcomechurch.churchcenter.com/giving or to the American Diabetes Association.

David Dill was a great person, always willing to help. I worked with him for Berea events a non profit, he helped with many project. Always enjoyed being around him, he loved the community and always helped us.
I pray for Tammy and his family.
