David Galati Obituary

David was a longtime Snack Foods Salesman for his father John, Jamestown Food Specialties, Troyer Farms Snack Products, Arthur R Gren Distributing, and his own Galati Snack Foods. He loved camping throughout life with Judy and his sons, and eventually an extended family at Stateline Speedway. He also loved going to Stateline watching everyone from his son John to the younger kids that grew up around the neighborhood racing stock cars around the track. He also loved watching the NASCAR Truck Series races which both his sons have worked in both at the track and in the shops. In his younger days, David was a lifelong member of the Busti (NY) Fire Department, Busti Men's Association, and the Allen Park Men's Club.
A Memorial Service will be held at Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home in Jamestown, NY on Friday, July 18, from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America www.alzfdn.org

Rest in Peace. David has answered his last call, and his service as a volunteer firefighter was a treasured gift to his community. The Southwestern Assn of Volunteer Firefighters of the State of New York extend their condolences and sympathy to his family, and give thanks for his time well spent in the service of others.
