Born in Rockland County, NY, Rev. Jones was the son of Cynthia Andriac Jones and the late Robert Leroy Jones. He was the preacher at Shiloh Baptist Church as well an Operations Manager with Rogers Petroleum.
In addition to his wife and mother, Rev. Jones is survived by his son: James Shirley (Erica), Samuel Robert Jones, Thomas William Shirley (Kara) and Simon Peter Jones; daughter: Cynthia Grace Jones Gardener (Jack); brothers: Peter A. Jones and Steven M. Jones; sister: Lisa Joslin; and three grandchildren: Noah, Olivia, and Thomas.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 28, 2024 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Shiloh Baptist Church: 1324 Shiloh Rd., Seneca, SC 29678.
The family is at their respective homes.
