David Mayle Obituary
David A. "Pookie" Mayle, 53, of Zanesville, died at 4:35 A.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison-House surrounded by his family. He was born February 28, 1971, in Mobile, Alabama, a son of the late Albert Wiggins, Loretta Mayle and Robert "Crow" Sowers. David enjoyed playing golf, spades, fishing, food and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Kane (Katie) Mayle, Payne (Kaylee Burns) Mayle and Tyrus Mayle; a daughter, Keerston Mayle; two grandchildren, Kamri and Alauni Mayle; brothers Christopher Mayle, Robert Sowers Jr., and Shawn Sowers; sisters, Dakeyla (David Stigler) Mills-Sowers, Naquita Sowers, Lakeysha Sowers, Shannon Sowers and Latonya Sowers and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Ray Sowers.
Friends and family may call from 3:00 P.M. until time of service at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Nathan McDonald officiating.
