Dave lived a full and adventurous life with whole hearted enthusiasm. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1966 and pursued his artistic talent at Mohawk Valley Community College.
From there he entered the Army in 1969 where he served in Vietnam earning two Bronze stars, one with a V for Valor. Eventually he fulfilled a dream when he moved to Colorado. While there Dave continued his adventures skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting, with thirteen trips down the Grand Canyon, many while serving as a guide for his many friends and one with his two younger brothers.
An avid antique collector, he made many trips home to search for items at sales and auctions for collectibles to sell at his antique business in Colorado. He worked in construction as an installer of sheet rock. After moving home in 2009 he enjoyed his favorite collections he had displayed in his home. His passion changed to golfing which he pursed daily until his health declined and cross country skiing in winter. He especially enjoyed family reunions, holidays together with extended family and visits with his brothers and their families.
