David H. Mohn, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in his Mohnton home, surrounded by loving family. Born in Exeter Township, he was a son of the late Martin L. and Dorothy M. (Knepp) Mohn. He was married to his sweetheart, Millicent (Pinkerton) Mohn, and they celebrated 51 years of marriage.

David attended Governor Mifflin High School, where he played varsity football. He then enlisted in the Army, where he proudly served two tours in Vietnam, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.

David worked for General Battery Corporation, and later worked for Action Homes as a general contractor. He was known for his hard work and also was known for lending a hand when others needed it. He finally retired due to lung cancer in 2006.

In addition to his wife Millicent, David is survived by five children: Dawn Mohn, Mohnton, Todd Mohn, Mohnton; From a previous marriage, Dean Mohn, (wife Eileen), Exeter, Lisa Coe, (husband Dan), Hickory, NC, Michelle Rissmiller, Reading (deceased), and David Mohn Sr., (wife Tara), Kenhorst, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

David loved to cook and make pastries for family and friends. He was very family oriented. He liked watching WWF and football, and also liked to play poker for fun. He loved animals. Including birds, fish and dogs. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
