David Golden Nelson, SR at age 61 of Utah passed away on November 15, 2023, at 2:26 p.m. in St Marks
hospital surrounded by family.
David was the second oldest of the eight children: Jerry, Peter, Bobbie, Ruth, Mary, Heather, and Sean
born to Jerry and Roberta (MacDonald) Nelson in Murray, Utah
David certainly was not disappointed when it came to the love he had for his family. David whole
heartily loved unconditionally and proudly the six rambunctious boys: Stanley (Amy), David Jr, Jeffery
(Karalyn), Joseph (Patty), Joshua (Marla), Samuel and his daughter Cassidy; along with his seventeen
grandchildren.
David was a strong link to the unbreakable chain of his family. Our hearts are broken to lose this link
in the chain. David is not alone as he was preceded in passing by his father Jerry Nelson, SR, and younger
brother Peter.
David's unconditional love is still our guide. We will be having services held at the Butler West Stake Center,
1845 E. 7200 S. Cottonwood Heights, on Tuesday November 21st, at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing at the
same location from 10-11:00 a.m. the same day.
As David left us peaceful loving memories, our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
Share your loving memories of David Golden Nelson, SR to keep his memory and love ever going as the
chain will link once again.
