David Lyle Packard

David Lyle Packard, 76, of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was a graduate of Mason County High School and a member of Holy Cross Parish in Covington, KY. Dave was a graduate of Morehead State University and a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He was a licensed funeral director for most of his working years. Dave was a golf enthusiast and a PGA professional club pro. He had an accomplished voice and enjoyed classical music. Dave obtained his private pilot's license and had a huge love of Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Dan and Lucile Packard and sister: Karen Carver. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 43 years: Mary Ann Schlachter Packard; children: Chrissy (Tim) Cutter, Brandon (Lisa) Packard and Brian (Christy) Williams; 9 grandchildren and his loving dog: Holly. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the Eulogy Service at 12:45 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington, KY 41015.
