David Richardson Obituary
Born, March 11, 1976, in Stone Mountain, GA, Mr. Richardson graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School and the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned a BS Degree in Sports Medicine.
David was a lover of UGA and Southern Miss football, Jimmy Buffett music, animals, helping others, grilling on his Green Egg, and most of all- his daughters and wife of 26 years.
He was survived by wife, Leigh Ann; daughters, Allison and Cara of Griffin, GA; parents, Mikel and Betty Brame Richardson of Tucker, GA; sister, MaryJane (Keith) Abbey of St. Augustine, FL; nephews, Harrison (Carlee) and Hampton Tharpe; mother-in-law, Sandra Reynolds of Douglasville; brother-in-law Marc (Betsy) Reynolds; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Ike Reeser officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center (https://jekyllislandfoundation.org/give/initiatives/the-georgia-sea-turtle-center/) in memory of Mr. Richardson.

He was a very very good man. Very smart, good husband and a great father. He took the time and downloaded every Jimmy Buffet song for me. That meant so much to me for someone to take the time to do it and do it correctly, which I still have to this day. I´m 86 years old and still can´t get over the deaths I´ve been around for that the people are so young. This family that I married into was so good to me. I think of you all often. I wish I could make it to the funeral, but for health reasons, I can´t. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.
