David Andrew Shaffer, age 47, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Barbara and John Shaffer.
At a young age Andy was a profound athlete. Playing Football, wrestling, track and field. He was a creative person and enjoyed painting. Later in life he enjoyed disc golf, going to the gun range and powerlifting. He enjoyed learning history, politics, philosophy, and was a self taught computer builder specializing in hardware. He loved building things with his nieces and nephews and nurturing their artistic expression.
He is survived by his parents Barbara (nee Bower), John Shaffer, his Step Mother Karen, his brother John (Helen) Shaffer, his sister Emily Shaffer, his three nieces and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Caroline Bashore. Friends will be received from 12:00 PM-12:45 PM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home. The Family would like you to join them after the Services at the Funeral Home at the Friendship Fire Hall. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
