David Siler, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Burlington, North Carolina, on April 24, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on May 7, 1967, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, David lived a life full of dedication to both his family and his faith.
David devoted 30 years of his life working at Sapa, formerly known as East Core Aluminum, where he eventually retired. His work ethic was commendable, and he formed lifelong friendships through his career.
A man of profound faith, David was a devoted Deacon at McBroom Chapel Church. His commitment to the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life. Beyond his spiritual contributions, David was a talented blues harmonica player and found joy in sharing his music with those around him.
David's family was his pride and joy. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and was known as a devoted family man. He had a passion for working on cars, which he often shared with his nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by his father, Oscar Siler, and nephew, Anthony Siler.
David is survived by his mother, Sarah Siler; sisters, Christina Alston and Angela Siler; two nieces and two nephews; three great-nieces and four great-nephews; as well as several aunts and uncles who will miss him dearly.
In accordance with the wishes of his family, no services are planned at this time. David's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
