David Paul Sleeper

David Paul Sleeper, age 73 of Forked River passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Dave was born and raised in Prospect Park, PA moving to Forked River in 1978. He had worked the tristate area for the last 40 years as an engineer inspector. Dave enjoyed being on the water, you could find him with either a rod or a camera in his hand, taking photos of lighthouses or catching fish and crabs. He also enjoyed watching TV (Comedy and Football) and drinking his Coors Light "Life is Good". When Dave was in Vegas he loved to stop at the Bellagio to watch the fountain show and listen to the music "Clair de lune".
David was predeceased by his son Raymond in 2019 and his brother Steven, He is survived by his wife of 10 years Jean, his son Brett, his stepchildren: Kailon, Lily, Lisa and Linda. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2pm until time of service at 3:45pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. Cremation was private.
