David William “Dave” Stinson of Broomall, PA, sadly passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 62.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles W. Stinson, Jr. and Teresa D. (née Duffy) Stinson.
Dave was a graduate of Eastern College and worked for many years in the IT industry. Dave was a kind and caring person and a friend to many. His warm demeanor and generous spirit endeared him to those who knew him. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, he loved to cook and he enjoyed fishing, where he often sought peace and camaraderie. He also possessed a deep-seated interest in family genealogy, exploring his roots with enthusiasm and sharing his discoveries with those around him.
Dave is survived by his daughters, Arianna Presant (Zach) and Alyssa Stinson; and his cherished grandchildren, Eleanor, James, and Henry. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Callahan (Tom); his sister-in-law, Susan Stinson, and his loving cousin, Terry Reiff, who was like a sister to Dave. He is also survived by his nieces, Tara, Lauren and Sarah and his nephew, Michael Stinson. Dave is predeceased by his brother, Charles “Chuck” Stinson.
Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Dave at a Visitation, on Friday, October 3, 2025, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by a Funeral Service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
