David Robert Tuller, 83, of Cape Girardeau passed away April 20, 2025 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 11, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to the late Lloyd and Gladys (Lee) Tuller. David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, stationing in Cambodia where he fueled airborne planes. After returning from the military, he became a railroad engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring after 25 years. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades because of his immense abilities in welding, woodworking and creating beautiful walking sticks. He also enjoyed golfing and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Delores Tuller; two brothers, Glenn Tuller and Carl Tuller.
David is survived by his son, Patrick Tuller; granddaughter, Hanna Tuller; two brothers, Paul (Cecile) Tuller and James L. Tuller; long-time friend, Dorothy Black. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home of Cape Girardeau.
