David Vaughn Obituary

David was married to Irene Vaughn for 30 years. Together they owned and David served as broker of Frankfort Realty since 1995.
David was the father to six children and had more than a dozen grandchildren.
David and Irene have been blessed to have Amanda, Bri and Olivia Miller in their lives for many years.
David served in the United States Army. He was a faithful servant at Buck Run Baptist Church serving in many ways as a deacon, children's worker and was known to have invited a great many to visit his beloved church – many of whom have now been members for many years.
Services will be held at Buck Run Baptist Church, 1950 Leestown Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Scott Riessen officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Buck Run Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Please make any donations in David's memory to Romanian American Missions c/o Buck Run Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.

Dave was one of my older Vaughn cousins whom I met at my dear Aunt Helen´s memorial. I really enjoyed chatting with him and was struck by how much he reminded me of Uncle Frank. He was a kind Christian man. I am glad our paths crossed.

David has been a family friend for years. He helped my husband and I purchase our Frankfort home. He helped my parents purchase and sell their Frankfort home. But he was more than a real estate agent to us. He was our friend. I liked David the moment I met him. He had such a gentle spirit about him. And even more importantly he loved the Lord. He will be terribly missed.
